The event details are as follows:
8:00 AM Sign-in
9:00 AM Warm-up
9:15 AM Walk and have fun
12 Noon Post-Walk Party at Kildare's- Manayunk

Location: Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park Philadelphia, PA
(Address: 4301 Parkside Ave, Philadelphia, PA-19104)

Parking: Free parking will be available off of South Concourse Drive near Memorial Hall

The ZAPANJ Trekkers [ about 25 Zoroastrians have already registered] are planning to meet at 8am by the fountain across the Memorial Hall. There is still time to register and on-site registration is also available.


Instructions to Register as a Walker:
1) Log on to: www.redcrosswalk.org

2) Please wait until three red boxes: Register Now, Sponsor Walker, and Log In appear in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
3) Double click on: Register Now
4) Click on: Search for a team
5) Type in: 'zapanj trekkers' in the box
6) Click on: 'Find Participant'
7) In the lower part of the next screen you will see a results table.
8) Click on 'zapanj trekkers' in the Team Column
9) This will bring up the list of registered ZAPANJ trekkers.
10) Click on 'Join ZAPANJ Trekkers'
11) This will bring up the 'Choose Participation Type' screen
12) Select 'Register as a Walker'
13) At bottom of the page enter your fund raising goal (if any).
14) Click 'Next Step' in the lower left corner of the page.
15) Fill in your contact information.
16) Click 'Next Step'
17) Complete the waiver screen.
18) This will give you the confirmation that you are registered as a walker. Subsequently you will get a confirmation email at the address that you have provided in your 'Contact Screen'.


Donation Instructions for Non-Walkers:

Follow Steps 1- 9 as above
10) You will see a 'Support ZAPANJ Trekkers Gauge' on the right hand side.
11) Click on the hyperlink 'Make a gift' in the bottom left hand corner of the gauge.
12) Enter your gift amount (minimum $5) and enter the billing information.


Whoever plans to attend the post walk party at Kildare's in Manayunk must RSVP to walk@redcross-philly.org or call 215-405-8888 by April 18.
